:) In Captions For HBO's 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'

I enjoy watching HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm. I love the scene where Larry David's character voiced his distaste for how people use : ) in text messages and how often it is being used. He said,"What, are they gonna be in newspapers soon? New York Times headline: Unemployment drops, smiley face?"

It tickled me to see the : ) added in the closed-captions.
